1. In the navigation sidebar, click **Blueprints**.
2. Locate the blueprint that you want to publish.
3. Click the three-dot dropdown list next to the blueprint's name.
4. Click **Publish blueprint**.
5. If needed, enter version notes to differentiate this new published version from any other versions.

Users with the Publisher role and View access can’t enter version notes. They need Edit access. If you don't want to give the Publisher Edit access, enter the version notes in the About tab of the blueprint.
6. Click **Publish**.

The blueprint is published and available for others to use to start workflows.

Note If your blueprint includes AI agent tasks, each task must have a saved plan before you can publish. Open the AI agent task, go to the **Test** tab, run the agent, and save the plan. The plan locks on publish. See [Get AI Agent Tasks Ready for Run Time in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_ai_agent_get_ready.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Before you publish a blueprint, make sure that your AI agent tasks are tested and producing reliable results. This section walks you through how plans work, how to test them, and how to lock them for consistent run-time behavior in Agentforce Operations.").

Note If you can't publish a blueprint, your blueprint might exceed a blueprint limit. Resolve the exceeded limit, and then publish. See [Blueprint Limits in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_blueprint_limits.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Blueprints have limits on the number of tasks, fields, and form items they can contain. These limits help you avoid the performance issues that come with oversized blueprints.").
