# Getting Work Done with Teams in Agentforce Operations

Use teams in Agentforce Operations to group users for task assignment and collaboration. When you assign a task to a team, all team members can see and work on the task. You can also give blueprint and workflow access to teams for collaboration. Set up teams from the Admin page or the People & Teams page, then grant access or assign tasks to teams, or involve them as approvers or as cc'd participants.

## How Teams Work

With teams, you can assign work to a group rather than an individual. When you assign a task to a team, all team members can see it, and any member can complete it. Set up your teams first, then assign tasks to them in blueprints or workflows.

## When a Team Is Assigned to a Task

When you assign a task to a team, all team members receive a notification and can view and work on the task. Any team member can complete the task, and the system records the completion for both the individual who completed it and the team.

Task assignment grants task-level access only. If an assignee needs to view the full workflow, grant them workflow-level access from the Access tab.

## When a Team Is CC'd on a Task

When a team is cc'd on a task, the task and its updates are viewable to all team members. They can comment and contribute to the discussion, but can complete the task only if they're also assigned to it.

## When a Team Is Assigned to Approve a Task

When you assign a team to approve a task, any team member can approve or reject the task. The system records the approval or rejection for both the individual who performed the action and the team.

## Setting Up and Using Teams

Create a team and add members from the Admin page or the People & Teams page. You can then assign tasks to the team in your blueprints. To learn how to create a team and add members, see [Set Up a Team in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_set_up_team.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Create and configure teams in Agentforce Operations. With teams, you can group users together for easier task assignment and collaboration. When you assign a task to a team, all team members can see and work on the task.").

After you set up a team, assign tasks to it in a blueprint so all team members can see and complete the work. To learn how to assign a task to a team, see [Assign a Task to a Team in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_assign_task_to_team.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "When creating a blueprint or adding a task to a workflow, you can assign a task to a team instead of an individual user.").
