## When to Use the Document Agent

Use the Document Agent to generate or summarize a document, compare documents, or extract tables from a CSV or Excel file where the format of the table is identical every time the workflow runs. To use the Document Agent to extract tables, don't add any special formatting to the file, and put the column labels in the first row of the file.

There are two different document agents.
