          </tr>

Before you begin, review [User Roles and Access Levels in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_roles.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Assign specific roles to users that define what they can do in Agentforce Operations. You can use the system roles, or create custom roles. Grant granular access levels to blueprints and workflows.") so you can assign the correct roles to new users.

Agentforce Operations is an invite-only platform. You can add users in several ways depending on your needs. To add or update multiple users by using a CSV file, see [Add and Update Multiple Users in Bulk in Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_bulk_create_update_multiple_users.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Upload a CSV file to invite users to the workspace, add roles to existing users, or update their names. A CSV file can include up to 10,000 rows, including the header row. You can add roles to users. You can't remove or create roles by uploading a CSV file.").

The new users receive a Welcome to Agentforce Operations email automatically. The users click the **Accept Invite** button and follow the log in process. For details on signing in, see [Logging In to Agentforce Operations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.automate_afsc_sign_in.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Log in to Agentforce Operations by using your invite email, and learn when you need to log in and when you don't need to log in.").

## Add a User Through a Task

The easiest way to invite a single user is to assign them a task. When you assign a task to a new email address, the user gets a task assignment email. Users also get an email inviting them to join Agentforce Operations so they can log in.

1. When creating or editing a task, for Assigned to, enter the new user's email address.

    The Invite person button shows.
2. Click **\+ Invite person**.

    The new user window opens.
3. Enter the user's information and then click **Invite**.

The user receives a Welcome to Agentforce Operations email with a link to log in to the workspace.

## Add a User Directly

Create a single user account by directly inviting them to the workspace.

1. In the navigation sidebar, click **Admin**.
2. Click the **People** tab.
3. Click **\+ Add or update**.
4. Click **Invite via direct entry**.
5. Click **Select**.
6. Enter the new user's name and email address.
7. For Type, select **Internal** or **External**.
8. Optionally, select a role or multiple roles for the user.
9. Optionally, select a language.
10. Click **Invite**.

The user receives a Welcome to Agentforce Operations email with a link to log in to the workspace.

## Resend an Email Invite to a User

Resend a workspace invite email so a user can log in.

1. Go to your workspace's login page.
2. Click **Resend email invite**.

The user receives a Welcome to Agentforce Operations email with a link to log in to the workspace.
