Note This content relates to Archive. For Salesforce Archive, see [Store Data Externally with Salesforce Archive](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=xcloud.archive_overview.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

This feature is available in Archive Package 22 and later.

## Configure the Permission Set

1. Go to Setup.
2. Search for Permission Sets.
3. Clone the Archive View Archived Records permission set.
4. In the cloned permission set, go to Object Settings.
5. Select **Archive Configurations**.
6. Under Object Permissions, clear the **View All** checkbox.
7. Resolve permission set assignment errors.

When assigning the cloned permission set, this error can appear:

"Can't assign permission set to the user. The user license doesn't allow permissions: View All Policies (Deprecated)."

Follow these steps to resolve it.

    1. Identify the object causing the issue: Policies (Deprecated) (`OB_Archiver__ArchivingPolicy__c`).
    2. Edit the cloned permission set and go to Object Settings.
    3. Locate Policies (Deprecated) and remove the View All Data permission.
    4. Save the changes and reattempt assigning the permission set.

## Configure Sharing Settings

1. Go to Setup.
2. Search for Sharing Settings.
3. Click Edit to modify Organization-Wide Defaults.
4. Scroll to Archive Configuration.
5. Set Default Internal Access and Default External Access to `Public Read Only`.
6. Scroll to Policy.
7. Set Default Internal Access and Default External Access to `Public Read Only`.

Note The `CommunityListRelatedRecordsArchivedWidget` and `CommunitySingleRelatedRecordsArchivedWidget` widgets must be properly configured for Experience Cloud users.
