# Classic Approval Process History Status

To track where a record is in a classic approval process, view its Approval History related list.

With Flow Approval Processes, you can monitor submitted records and quickly identify bottlenecks, giving you unprecedented visibility into approval workflows. And, like Classic Approval Processes, Flow Approval Processes don’t consume automation credits or orchestration runs.

 
| Status | Definition |
| --- | --- |
| Submitted | The record has been submitted for approval. |
| Pending | The record has been submitted for approval and is awaiting approval or rejection. |
| Approved | The record has been approved. |
| Rejected | The record has been rejected. |
| Reassigned | The record has been submitted for approval but assigned to a different approver. |
| Recalled | The record was submitted for approval but recalled from the classic approval process. |
