# Customize or Disable Resubscribe Messaging

After an admin enables automated prospect resubscribe for Account Engagement forms, marketing users can customize the messaging on each form. If resubscribe messaging isn’t needed for a particular form, the marketing user can disable it.

### Required Editions

Note To use this feature, [Handlebars Merge Language (HML)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000380878&type=1&language=en_US) must be enabled for your business unit.

1. Open the Forms page.
    - In Account Engagement, select **Marketing** | **Forms** | **Forms**.
    - In the Lightning app, select **Content** | **Forms**.
2. Create or edit a form.
3. Click the **Fields** tab, then edit the Email field.

4. Click the **Resubscribe** tab.
    1. If you’re customizing the resubscribe messaging, select the **Use custom resubscribe message** checkbox, then input the text for the resubscribe prompt, link text, and the confirmation message.
    2. To disable automated prospect resubscribe for your form, deselect the **Give unsubscribed prospects the chance to resubscribe** checkbox.
5. Save your changes.
