# Organize Marketing Assets with Folders

You can organize and nest your content and marketing assets in a way that makes sense for your team. Apply folder permissions to control which users have access to your marketing assets and content.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <span>All Account Engagement Editions</span></td></tr></tbody></table>

Keep these considerations in mind when using folders.

- You can’t rename or delete the Uncategorized folders.
- You can have up to 10,000 items in a folder.
- You can nest folders up to 16 levels deep.

- **[Create a Folder](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.pardot_content_folder_create.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Use folders to organize your marketing assets.
- **[Limit Access with Folder Permissions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.pardot_content_folder_set_permission.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
To protect your content in folders, assign access to specific user groups with permissions. Before you apply folder permissions, make sure that you’ve created user groups and organized your content in folders.
