# Create Dynamic Content

Use dynamic content to display variations to prospects based on criteria you select.

### Required Editions

1. Open the Dynamic Content page.
    - In Account Engagement, select **Marketing** | **Content** | **Dynamic Content**.
    - In the Lightning app, select **Content** and then **Dynamic Content**.
2. Click **\+ Add Dynamic Content**.
3. Enter a name for internal use.
4. Set the default content that prospects see when they don’t match a variation.

    2. Create content in the editor.
    3. Save.
5. Add a variation.
    1. Select a field on which to base the variation.
    2. Enter the criteria for the variation.
    3. Hover over the box, and click **Edit** to add content.
    4. Create content in the editor.
    5. Save.
6. Add up to 25 variations by clicking **\+ Add Variation**.
7. Save the dynamic content when finished.

You can now embed the dynamic content in emails and web pages.
