# Activate Offers

When your offers and offer treatments are approved, you can activate offers to share them with customers in different formats by using various communication channels.

## Offer Communication Strategies

You can send static, predetermined offers to segments or deliver personalized recommendations to individual customers.

- Static Offers: Use the same, predetermined offer treatments for all customers in a campaign. They’re best suited for predetermined offers, such as seasonal offers and product launches, that apply to all customers in a segment. For example, festive offers with discounts on all winter apparel in a specific geography.
- Personalized Offers: Use real-time personalization to deliver targeted offer treatments for each customer based on factors such as interests, purchase history, and behavior. They’re best suited for large product catalogs, behavioral targeting, and re-engagement campaigns. For example, end-of-season sale offers on large apparel catalogs.
