### Required Editions

Tip Each of these permission set groups bundles permission sets that grant the system permissions and object access that a role needs. To build custom permission sets and permission set groups instead, first review these groups and their permission sets to learn what the permission sets grant. Then model your custom permissions on them.

## Administration

Assign this permission set group to admins who set up and maintain Marketing Planning and Operations.

## Marketing

Assign these permission set groups to the people who plan and run marketing work.

| Marketing Planning and Operations Leader | CEOs, CMOs, VPs, and directors | Full access to plan and manage marketing work. This access includes creating and managing marketing programs. Goals, campaigns, and tactics align to those programs. |
| Marketing Planning and Operations Specialist | Campaign managers and marketing managers | Access to run marketing work within existing programs and in the Planning & Operations area on campaigns, including goals, tactics, templates, tasks, and governance reviews. Specialists don't create or edit programs. |

Note None of these permission set groups grant access to create a campaign. Instead, they provide access to work with existing campaigns. To create a campaign, a user needs the Marketing User permission.

## Compliance Review

Assign these permission set groups to the people who manage and run compliance reviews.

| Marketing Planning and Operations Reviewer | Brand, legal, and regulatory reviewers | Access to evaluate assigned compliance reviews and record their outcomes. |

## AI Agent

Assign this permission set group to the Agentforce agent that works alongside your marketing team.

| Marketing Planning and Operations Agent User | Users who invoke the agent to create marketing programs and goals.
