# Marketing Performance Intelligence

Marketing Performance Intelligence (MPI) combines marketing data and analytics in one place so that you can measure performance across paid, owned, B2B, and offline channels. Use consistent metrics to evaluate campaigns and customer journeys, understand which touchpoints drive conversions, and improve your marketing strategy.

MPI uses the [Marketing Semantic Data Model](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_mi_unified_semantic_data_model.htm&type=5&language=en_US) in Data 360 to standardize data and metrics across channels. This shared model reduces the need to switch between separate analytics tools and reconcile different data definitions.

[View supported editions](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mktg_editions.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Marketing Cloud Next is available in Growth and Advanced editions, and requires Salesforce Enterprise or Unlimited editions. Some features are limited by edition or purchased add-on. All functionality is available in Lightning Experience only.").

## Explore Your Marketing Data

After you install MPI, use these tabs in the Marketing app.

- Marketing Analytics: Review cross-channel dashboards, track progress toward marketing goals, and view AI-generated summaries.
- Data Management: Connect data sources, configure attribution models, enrich and standardize marketing data, and manage the Marketing Semantic Data Model.

With MPI, you can:

- Compare performance across marketing channels.
- Identify campaigns and touchpoints that contribute to conversions.
- Trace customer journeys across paid, owned, B2B, and offline channels.
- Understand which campaigns generate revenue and where to adjust your budget.

Marketing Performance Intelligence provides standard analytics for first-party marketing data. Marketing Intelligence adds capabilities such as paid-media connectors, configurable attribution, data enrichment, custom schemas, agents, and custom Tableau Next dashboards.
