# Allocations and Limits in Marketing Cloud Next

Some features have limits that impact how much of something you can store or how frequently you can do certain tasks.

## Content and Messaging

For the latest information about message credits and rates, review [Multipliers for Salesforce Message Credits](https://www.salesforce.com/marketing/salesforce-message-credits/). This chart shows credits based on a yearly contract, but the total number of credits depends on the actual contract length. You can use credits at any time over the course of your contract.

SMS credits aren't included with any Marketing Cloud Next edition, but can be purchased as an add-on.

## Agentic Content

When limits are met, agentic generation features are turned off for all users in the org and are unavailable in the agentic content workspace UI. Usage limits reset on the first of every month at 12:00 AM in the org's local system time. Unused allocations from the previous month don't carry over.
