# Unify Legacy Engagement Data

Some legacy Marketing Cloud Engagement data isn’t compatible with Marketing Cloud Next features. If it’s necessary to modify your Engagement data, you can do it in Setup.

If you connected Marketing Cloud Engagement to Data 360 before November 11, 2025, your account isn’t eligible to use the unified reporting system. In these accounts, data for Marketing Cloud Engagement isn’t available in the Marketing Performance or Analytics sections.

To get started, after you connect your Engagement data, go to **Marketing Cloud** | **Marketing Features** | **Marketing Cloud Engagement** | **Unify Data**. Follow the steps to [update your data configuration](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mke_configure_unify_data_prepare.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To help you unify your data, we provide a CSV file that lists the processes in your org that need to be updated. Generate the CSV file, update your data mapping, then use the file to make the necessary changes.") and [manage your incoming and existing data](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mke_configure_unify_data_manage.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After you update your data configuration, update your incoming Marketing Cloud Engagement data to the unified data model. Then, update the model for your existing Engagement data.").

If you don’t see a Unify Data page, your configuration is compatible with Marketing Cloud Next and you don’t need to do anything else.

- **[Update Your Data Configuration](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mke_configure_unify_data_prepare.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
To help you unify your data, we provide a CSV file that lists the processes in your org that need to be updated. Generate the CSV file, update your data mapping, then use the file to make the necessary changes.
- **[Manage Incoming and Existing Engagement Data](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mke_configure_unify_data_manage.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
After you update your data configuration, update your incoming Marketing Cloud Engagement data to the unified data model. Then, update the model for your existing Engagement data.
