# MDP Data Row Usage

When you upload data into Salesforce Marketing Intelligence Data Pipelines, each row of data in the source file occupies a row of data in MDP. Each MDP account has a set number of rows, depending on the license acquired, that can be divided among the workspaces in the account.

Each time a file is processed in MDP, the number of rows in the processed file counts toward your row quota.

For example, the count includes when you create or update a new data stream, create, update, or delete data classification records, or when you fix unclassified records.
