# Yahoo Japan Search Ads API Connector

Yahoo! Japan Search Ads is a platform from which users can purchase and manage advertising space on Yahoo! Japan.

This Yahoo! Japan Search Ads connector is replacing the Yahoo! Japan Sponsored Search connector.

- **Channel**: Search
- **Data Stream Type**: Ads, Search Keywords, Conversion Tag, Conversion Tag with Keywords.
- **Data Lagging**: 1 day

## Prerequisites

To connect to Yahoo Japan Ads API, you need a valid Yahoo Japan API Account, API Password, and Account ID. Contact your Yahoo! Japan Display representative to gain API access.

## General Setup

After entering your credentials, select the relevant account you want to retrieve data for.

## Extended Properties

- Get Conversions Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve conversion data, which is mapped to the Data Stream corresponding to the report you select below. The following fields will be added:
    - Total Conversions
    - Revenue
    - Conversion Tag Name
    - Conversion Tag Category
- Select Report - Select the report you want to pull data from. The following options are available:
    - Search Keyword Report - This report retrieves Search Keyword data and will be mapped to the Search Keywords Data Stream.
    - Search Ad Report - This report retrieves Search Ad data and will be mapped to the Ads Data Stream.
    - Search Geo Report - This report retrieves Search Geographical data and will be mapped to the Ads Data Stream.

## How to QA Your Data

- Create the desired report in the Yahoo! Japan Ads platform for the required date range.
- Next, process the relevant Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines for the same date range.
- Create a Report/Pivot Table within Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines containing the exact same Dimensions and Measurements for the same report and date range.
- Compare the Measurement Totals and make sure they are aligned
