# Yahoo Gemini API Connector

Yahoo Gemini is Yahoo’s platform for native advertising and mobile search ads.

- **Channel**: Search
- **Data Stream Type**: Ads, Search Keywords, Conversion Tag, Conversion Tag with Keyword
- **Data Lagging**: 1 day

## Prerequisites

To connect to Yahoo Gemini, you need a valid username and password

## General Setup

After entering your credentials, select the relevant Profile you want to retrieve data for.

## Extended Properties

- Get Conversions Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve conversion data. The following fields are added to the Conversions Tags Data Stream: Total Conversions, Post Impression Conversions, Post Click Conversions.
- Get Creative Level Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve creative data. The following fields are added to the Ads Data Stream: Creative Title Name, Creative Name, Creative Key, Creative Image, Creative Click URL.
- Get Keyword Level Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve keyword data. The following fields will be added to the Search Keywords Data Stream: Search Keyword Status, Search Keyword Match Type, Search Keyword Key, Search Keyword.
- Get Device Level Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve device data. The following field is added: Device Category.
- Get Video Metrics Data - Select this checkbox to retrieve video data. The following fields are added to the Ads Data Stream: Video Views, Video Plays, Video Fully Played, Video Completions 75%, Video Completions 50%, Video Completions 25%.

## Known Issues

- Due to a Yahoo Gemini limitation, it’s only possible to process a Yahoo Gemini Data Stream up to 13 months back.

## How to QA Your Data

- Create the desired report in the Yahoo Gemini platform for the required date range.
- Next, process the relevant Data Stream in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines for the same date range.
- Create a Report/Pivot Table within Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines containing the exact same Dimensions and Measurements for the same report and date range.
- Compare the Measurement Totals and make sure they’re aligned.
