# Twitter Public (Competitive) API Connector

Twitter Public (Competitive) API Connector

- **Channel**: Social, Competitive

## Prerequisites

Valid Twitter Username and Password.

## Details

- Not all fields retrieved via the API are automatically mapped; if you wish to include a certain field that's not mapped by default, use Manual Mapping.
- Since the Twitter Public API retrieves public data such as Followers, Likes, Retweets, etc., validating your data should be done by comparing it to those Measurements’ values for the specific element you’re tracking on the Twitter platform.
- All the Measurements in the Twitter Public API are aggregated as LIFETIME; Twitter Public Connector are also LIFETIME Measurements.
- Since this Connector only retrieves only the current date's data for the date on which the retrieval takes place, it isn’t possible to reprocess historical data; you won’t be able to reprocess past dates in Twitter Public Data Streams.

## Extended Properties

- Twitter Screen Name: Enter the Screen Name you wish to track. You can enter up to 5 Twitter Account Screen Names separated by a comma, per Data Stream. The Twitter Screen Name is the name after the @ symbol in Twitter. For example: @pagename - the Twitter Screen Name is pagename.
