# Google Ads API Connector in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines

Use the Google Ads API connector to retrieve a predefined set of dimensions and measurements from the Google Ads API. Google Ads is a display and search channel connector. The data stream type is Ads, and the data lagging is one day.

Additional information on the Google ads API connector:

- When **Get Keywords** is selected, conversions in Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines can show a higher value than the Google Ads platform. Marketing Cloud Intelligence Data Pipelines pulls the Display Network and Search Network keywords, whereas the reports in Google Ads include only the Search Network keyword as part of the keyword breakdown.

    Note Display Network keywords receive a Google Display Network site name.
- The connector retrieves paused and inactive fields. It doesn’t retrieve deleted fields.
