# MDP Add Load Rules to a Data Stream

Add load rules to a data steam to filter out unwanted data.

1. Navigate to the **Import** tab.
2. Expand **Data Streams List**.
3. Create a data stream or edit an existing one.
4. At the bottom of the Data Stream page, click **Advanced**.
5. Scroll to the **Load Rules** section.
6. Select a load rule from the dropdown or create one.
