# Configure the Database Export Feed

After you connect to the database and map your fields, configure how the exported data is inserted into your database table and how often to execute the export. This step defines what happens when new data is loaded into the database and how to handle it.

1. From the **Export** tab, select **Database Exports**.
2. Create a database export, or edit one.
3. At the bottom of the page, select **Configure Feed**.
4. In the **Load Mode** section, select how you want to load new data into the database.

    - **Incremental**: All new data is incremented into the database and added to the existing data.
    - **Total Replace**: Every time new data is updated, it replaces all the data in the database table.
5. In the **Trigger** section, define when to execute the export. For example, set a daily frequency, and then set a time. For example, you can have the data update every day at 8:00 AM.
6. If you want to apply advanced settings on the export, in the **Advanced** section, set the export type.

    - **Entire dataset**: Exports the entire dataset as one report.
    - **Partitioning**: Exports the dataset into separate reports. If you select this option, set the division by day, week, month, and so on.
    - To replace empty values with a set value, select **Replace empty values**, and then enter a value. For example, replace all empty values with the word NULL. All empty values are replaced, no matter if they’re dimensions or measurements.
7. To delete the report history after a specified time, set the **Purge Report History Days** and then enter a value. For example, if you enter 30, the report’s history is deleted after 30 days.
8. To create the database export, click **Create**.
9. To create the database export and run the export, click **Create & Run**.
