Before you complete this task, have these assets ready:

- An email template that you want to send to subscribers to confirm their subscription.
- The endpoint URL for the form handler [you created in the previous step](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mcae_double_opt_in_form_handler.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To mark a prospect as confirmed opt-in, create a form handler with a completion action to update the confirmed opt-in custom prospect field. The endpoint URL for the form handler is the confirmation link you include in your email to new subscribers. After the prospect clicks the link, the completion action updates the custom prospect field to confirm their opt-in status.").

1. Open an email template for editing.
    1. In Account Engagement, select **Marketing** | **Emails** | **Templates**.
    2. In the Lightning app, select **Account Engagement Email** and then **Templates**.
    3. To use the enhanced email experience in the Lightning app, select **Email Content**.
2. Click the component that you want to edit.
3. Highlight the text you want to link, click the ![link icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-mktg-pardot-264-0-0-production-enus/5fef4d4f-9a34-45c6-8cd3-e3200b9eeba8/pardot/images/mcae_link_icon.png), and then paste the URL for your form handler.
