# Contacts Count Report in Analytics Builder

The Contact Count report contains information on the total number of contacts in an account, and it runs weekly. The report also shows the Month End Report that runs on the last day of the month.

Important To view this report, enable the Access permission under Contacts. Find this permission in the Reports Catalog section of the Reports permission node.

                or method in which the contact entered Salesforce Marketing
                Cloud. See <a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_cab_contact_definition_and_count_determination.htm&amp;language=en_US" target="_blank">Contact Definition and Count
                  Determination in Contact Builder </a>for more
                information.</li>
              <li>Contact key counts in populations to whom no sends have been
                attempted yet.</li>
            </ul>

            from the email channel. Unique email addresses used by more than one
            subscriber are counted only one time in this subtotal. This subtotal
            doesn’t apply to the formula that computes Total Distinct
            Contacts.</td>
