# Configure the Identity System for Open Time Email

Set up the identity system for open time email.

### Required Editions

1. From the main navigation, select **Settings** | **General Setup**.
2. Expand **Advanced Options**.
3. Select the **Open Time Email Campaigns - Enable Identity resolution** option.
4. Select the identity type from the dropdown.

    Note If you have active Open Time Email campaigns, changing this setting can impact the content that appears for those campaigns.
5. Click **Save**.
