# Disable or Re-Enable an ETL Feed

Before you can cancel a running ETL job, you must first disable the ETL feed. You can re-enable a disabled ETL feed at any time.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small permission">
        <colgroup>
          <col style="width:50%">
          <col style="width:50%">
        </colgroup>
        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">
          <tr class="">
            <th scope="colgroup" class="slds-cell-wrap" colspan="2" style="text-align:center;vertical-align:top;" id="d13361e37">Permissions Needed</th>
          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="Permissions Needed" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d13361e37 ">To manage ETL feeds:</td>

            <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d13361e37 ">Feeds role with Cancel permissions</td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

When you disable an ETL feed, keep these considerations in mind:

- Currently running jobs continue to process until completed.
- Queued jobs are automatically canceled.
- Files associated with queued jobs remain in the /inbound folder.
- Disabled feeds pause picking up files automatically.

To disable an ETL feed:

1. From the main navigation, select **Feeds** | **Feeds Dashboard**.
2. Select the feed you want to disable.
3. Click **Disable**.

    You can re-enable the feed at any time by clicking the Enable button. Re-enabled feeds automatically pick up ETL files from the /inbound directory.
