# Insert Einstein Email Recommendations Code

Copy and insert the Einstein Email Recommendations code into your email.

Tip To customize how recommendations render in an email, use AMPscript.

1. On the **Logic** tab, select a recommendation.
2. Click the **Get Code** tab.
3. To preview the recommendation, click **Preview**.

    Note Einstein Contact Code generates content in a preview only after you select a subscriber.
4. Copy the code.
5. Paste the code into the `<head>` or `<body>` section of the email.
