# Define IP Allowlist Source for Enterprise 2.0 Accounts

Choose how the IP allowlist applies to business units in Enterprise 2.0 accounts. You can choose to let each business unit specify the IP ranges for the allowlist separately, or you can configure all business units to inherit the settings from the parent account.

1. In Marketing Cloud Engagement setup, in the Quick Find box, enter security, and then click **Security Settings**.
2. Click **Edit**.
3. For **IP Allowlisting List Source**, select how the IP allowlist is defined for business units. Choose from these options.

    | Option | Description |
    | --- | --- |
    | Defined at Business Unit level | Each business unit specifies IP ranges separately. |
    | Defined at Enterprise level | Business units inherit the IP ranges from the parent account. |
4. Save your changes.
