# MobilePush Advanced Template Category

Advanced Template Category helps to send the carousel content in a push notification. By configuring ‌this category in your app settings, you enable iOS devices to process and display these messages effectively. This field specifies the category name, allowing the SDK to correctly handle the push message. Without this configuration, carousel content can't be delivered to iOS devices.

Make sure to use the exact category name from your mobile app to leverage carousel features in your push notifications and enhance user engagement.

Note When using carousel messages on iOS, you must configure the appropriate application category. If this category isn't configured, push notifications containing rich carousel content may not be delivered to iOS devices.

1. In the app switcher, hover over your name and click **Setup**.
2. Search for MobilePush.
3. Click the Administration tab.
4. Select the app you want to edit.
5. Select Settings in the dropdown.
6. Under Optional Settings, enter a category in the Advanced Template Category field.
7. Click **Save**.
