# Manage Messages

Review message activity in MobileConnect to determine which contacts received your message, where any errors occurred, and what changes to make to improve the effectiveness of your campaigns. Message activity includes a summary of successful sends, sends with errors, and other information.

- **[Edit a Message](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_edit_a_message.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
You can edit a scheduled message. For an in-progress message, inactivate it to stop the sends. Then, make a copy of the inactive message and edit the copy. Changes apply to the message's future sends.
- **[Inactivate a Message](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_activating_or_inactivating_messages_in_mobileconnect.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
You can inactivate a message after evaluating its send status in MobileConnect.
- **[Copy and Reuse a Message](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_copy_and_reuse_an_inactive_message.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Once you copy a message in MobileConnect, you can make further edits and send the SMS or MMS message as necessary.
- **[Review Undelivered Messages in MobileConnect](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_retrieving_information_on_undelivered_sms_messages_for_mobileconnect.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Use a SQL query activity in Automation Studio to retrieve information about undelivered SMS messages. This information shows only messages that failed to reach the mobile device.
- **[Review Specific Message Activity](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_reviewing_specific_message_activity_in_mobileconnect.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
After you send, schedule, or activate a message in MobileConnect, you can get information about that message’s activity.
- **[MobileConnect Reports](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_moc_reports.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
You can use three MobileConnect reports available in Marketing Cloud Engagement.
