# Enable Multicurrency Support for Marketing Intelligence

Configure the currency settings in Salesforce so that dashboards display data accurately in Marketing Intelligence. If a dashboard uses a currency without a defined conversion rate, the system can't aggregate data, which causes errors. For orgs working with multiple currencies, first enable Multiple Currencies within your Company Information settings.

1. **Identify Missing Currencies**.

Before configuring settings, test your semantic model to identify which currencies are present in your data. This process helps you cross-reference your source data against your existing currency settings to identify what needs to be added.

    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box enter and select Semantic Layer.
    2. Select the semantic model associated with the dashboard displaying the error.
    3. Select **Test**.
    4. Under Dimensions, select these dimensions.

        - Engagement Data Source
        - Conversion Currency
        - Delivery Currency
        - Web Analytics Event Currency
        - Web Analytics Page Currency

A currency isn't required for every dimension.
    5. Preview the data and identify all active currencies. For example USD, EUR, and GBP.
    6. Compare this list with your existing currency setup to identify missing currencies.
2. **Configure Currency Settings.**

Use the currencies identified in the previous step to verify or update the configuration for your org. Begin with checking existing currency support.

    1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box enter and select Currency Connections.
    2. Review the currencies currently set for your org and determine your next steps.

        - Currency already listed: Update the conversion rate if needed. You're done.
        - Currency not listed: Continue to "Enable Multiple Currencies" to add it.
3. **Enable Multiple Currencies.**

    3. Enter the conversion rate relative to your corporate currency.
    4. Specify the number of decimal places to display for amounts in this currency.
    5. Save your work.
    6. Processing takes time. To verify completion, in setup in the Quick Find box, enter and select Currency Connections. Confirm the currency status is Active.
