# Customize the Campaign Summary in Marketing Intelligence

The campaign summary helps you quickly understand how your campaigns are performing. In the Home tab, you see an overall summary of all campaign objectives. In the Marketing Analytics dashboards, you see summaries grouped by objective and tailored to each dashboard. Select objectives, define the metrics that measure success, and take action directly from the summary.

You can customize the campaign summary in both the Home tab and the Marketing Analytics dashboards.

In the Home tab, select up to 6 metrics to include in the campaign summary. Default thresholds reflect the lowest and highest values across all channels, and you can adjust them to align with your campaign goals.

In the Marketing Analytics dashboards, summaries are grouped by objective. Select up to 4 objectives, and for each objective choose up to 4 metrics and adjust thresholds to define performance. In Performance Overview and Segment Intelligence, thresholds use the lowest and highest values across connected channels. In Channel Summaries, thresholds follow industry benchmarks

Changes you make in one dashboard don’t affect others.

You can also reuse the summary in any custom dashboard as a collection, for a consistent view of campaign health alongside your own metrics.

1. Open the summary that you want to customize.
2. Open the campaign summary menu, and then click **Customize**.
3. To customize from the Home tab
    1. Search or select up to 6 metrics to include in the campaign summary.
    2. Hover over a metric to adjust its thresholds. Default thresholds reflect the lowest and highest values across all channels.
4. To customize from Marketing Analytics dashboards:
    1. Search or select up to 4 objectives to include in the dashboard campaign summary.
    2. To change the related metrics for an objective, click the objective and select the metrics you want (up to 4 per objective).
    3. Hover over a metric to adjust its thresholds.
5. Click **Save** to apply your changes.
6. (Optional) Click **Optimize** on an objective to open the Paid Media Agent and take action.

Customizations apply only to the dashboard you edited. Other dashboards and the Home tab aren’t affected. To reset all defaults, open the campaign summary menu and click **Restore Defaults**.
