# Create a Direct Send Quick Reply Message

Send WhatsApp messages to your customers without creating or managing templates by using Direct Send quick reply messages in Journey Builder. Direct Send automatically matches your message content to a template, so you can reach customers quickly without waiting for template approvals.

1. In Journey Builder, open or create a journey.
2. Add a message activity and select **Direct Send Quick Reply Message**.
3. Fill in the message details:
    1. Enter header text (up to 60 characters).
    2. Enter the message body (up to 1,024 characters).
4. Add up to three quick reply button labels (up to 20 characters each).
5. Save the message.
6. For the channel, select **UCP Channel**.
7. Validate the journey, then activate it to start delivering messages.

After you activate the journey, Direct Send messages are delivered as customers enter it. Monitor delivery results in journey analytics.
