# Use an Audience Data Extension in a Journey Entry Step

When you import a Google Analytics audience, Marketing Cloud Engagement creates a data extension based on the data associated with the audience. You can use the data extension to add an audience into a journey.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Salesforce <strong>Enterprise</strong> and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions with Marketing Cloud Engagement and the Google Analytics Integration</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. In Journey Builder, drag a Data Extension entry source onto the canvas.
2. Click the Data Extension step, and then select **Select Data Extension** | **Shared Data Extensions** | **GA4 Audiences**.
3. Select the ID of the Google Analytics property that contains the audience that you want to use.
4. Choose the audience that you want to add to the journey, and then click **Summary**.
5. Review your selection, and then click **Done**.
