# Configure Google Analytics App Tracking

To track engagement with mobile URLs, set up Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property tracking for your Marketing Cloud Engagement business unit.

Before you can set up tracking for supported mobile apps, ask your developer to [configure the Firebase SDK](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/marketing/mobilepush/guide/send-custom-campaign-details-to-google-analytics.html#prerequisites), which supports logging custom campaign details to GA4.

1. From Engagement Setup, go to Data Management, and then click **Parameter Management**.
2. Click **GA4 Property Tracking**.
3. On the App tab, turn on tracking parameters.

You can’t configure the tracking parameters.
4. Save your changes.
