# Set a List to Public

Selecting the Public option in Email Studio will result in this list being displayed in the Subscription Center. A subscriber can opt-in or opt-out of any public list.

1. Hover over **Subscribers**.
2. Click **Lists**.
3. Select the name of the list to set to public.
4. Click **Properties**.
5. Select the checkbox for **Public**.
