# Create a Delivery Profile

Follow these steps to create a delivery profile in Marketing Cloud Engagement.

1. In Marketing Cloud Engagement Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter profile, and then select **Delivery Profile**.
2. Click **Create**.
3. Complete the information in the Properties section.
    
     
    | Label | Description |
    | --- | --- |
    | **Name** | Use this value to identify the delivery profile. |
    | **External Key** | Use this value to identify the delivery profile in an API call. |
    | **Description** | Use this field to further describe the purpose of the delivery profile. |
4. Complete the information in the Delivery Information section.

                      Default</strong>: Use the account default IP

                    IP address. If you have multiple dedicated IP addresses, select one to
                    use.</p>

                  <p style="margin-bottom:0;"><strong class="uicontrol">Account Default</strong>: Use the default header.</p>
