# Why isn’t Einstein Engagement Scoring automatically enabled in my account?

Not every Marketing Cloud Engagement account is used to market to subscribers via email or the web. For example, some accounts are used for testing, automations, or other channels, such as social or mobile. This ensures that we’re scoring the right audiences in an efficient, scalable manner.
