# Add a Distributed Marketing Attachment Block to an Email Template

Add a Distributed Marketing attachment block to an email template so that business users can choose the attachments used in the email.

1. In Content Builder, drag the attachment block onto the canvas. Only one attachment block can be added to an email.
2. For Guidance Message, enter the message shown to business users while personalizing the content.
3. To choose attachments that users can select from when editing the email, click **Browse**.
4. Select at least one attachment to make available.
5. Click **Select**.
6. To add more attachments for users to choose from, select **Add Attachments**.
7. You can add up to 20 attachments per block. The max size for each attachment is 5 MB. Up to 5 default attachments can be selected.

Note The number of attachments that can be sent depends on the total size of the attachments. The max total attachment size is 20 MB.
