## Roles

A user role combines permissions to address common marketer tasks. Keep in mind that in addition to CloudPages permissions, roles also include Engagement permissions. When assigning roles, consider the principle of least privilege. Each role supports a variety of permissions.

Each role supports a variety of permissions.

- Administrator—Create users and assign permissions, manage all CloudPages content.
- Channel Manager—Manage all CloudPages content.
- Content Editor—Create and edit CloudPages content.
- Viewer—View CloudPages content.

When you configure sharing, those settings apply to content editors and viewers.
