# Set Content Approval Permissions

Configure approval permissions in Content Builder for Marketing Cloud Engagement.

After you enable the approval process, each email message includes an Approvals Status tab.

1. In Engagement, hover over your name and click **Setup**.
2. In the Account dropdown, click **Users**.
3. Select the checkbox next to the user’s name and click **Manage Roles**.
4. Click **Edit Permissions**.
5. For Workflows and Approvals, click the plus sign to show the permission categories.
6. Select the permissions you want that user to have.
