# Search for Content

Content Builder provides several ways to locate specific content.

1. To find files within the folder structure, click **Content** and navigate through the folders.
2. To display content via the Filters tab, select **Filters** and filter based on existing criteria in the following categories.
    
    - Types (such as images or text)
    - Tags
    - Owners
    
    The grid displays available content that matches the filter criteria you select.
3. To find files by searching, type in keywords or filenames in the search field. The search displays information based on the following categories:
    
    - Content
    - Name
    - Content within files

    Important To use the search, include at least three numbers or letters in succession, excluding symbols. Search returns all content that contains all or part of the keyword. For example, “Saturday' returns all content that contains "Saturday", "sat", "day", and so on.

    Note It may take up to 30 seconds for edited or new content to display in this search.
4. To sort your content by field, select a field name.
5. To view a different balance between content and textual information, select list or thumbnail.
