# Insert an Anchor

Add or remove an anchor to link to in a Content Builder text block.

1. Select the anchor text.
2. Click anchor ![the anchor icon](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-mktg-mc_content_creation-264-0-0-production-enus/453b15fc-ab47-40df-8f11-8a7b92c8d0cd/mc_content_creation/images/anchor_icon.png).
3. Name the anchor.
4. Click **OK**.
    
    An anchor is displayed next to the text.
5. Create a link to the anchor by following the steps for [Insert and Remove Links](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.mc_ceb_insert_and_remove_links.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Build and remove links in a Content Builder text block.") and selecting **Anchor to Text** from the **Link to** dropdown.
