# Enable Contact Delete in Contact Builder

An admin can enable contact deletion for Marketing Cloud Engagement users in Contact Builder.

1. From Contact Builder, click **Contacts Configuration**.
2. In the Contact Delete section, click **Enabled**.
3. Click **Manage Settings**.
4. Enter the number of days for the suppression period.
    
    Changing this value affects processing and future contact delete requests.
5. Save your changes.
