# Automation Studio Activities for Audience Builder

You can increase productivity in Marketing Cloud Engagement when you use a combination of tools. Audience Builder actions are available as activities in Automation Studio and are related to an Email Studio program. Add one or more activities to an automation to accomplish your tasks.

First create an activity in Email Studio and then add it to your automation.

These types of activities are available.

Data Factory Utility

Moves and transforms data from a source database to the target Audience Builder database, and gives access to related applications.

Publish Audience

Makes an audience available as a sendable data extension based on an existing audience definition.

Refresh Segment Template

Recounts the population in a segment template that you created in Audience Builder.

Verify Audience Count

Refreshes the population count in a published segment by reapplying the segment definition rules.
