# Connect Global Promotions Management with Marketing Cloud Engagement Business Unit

After you create a send classification and a package in your Marketing Cloud Engagement business unit to connect Global Promotions Management with the business unit, use the send classification and package details to connect Global Promotions Management and the business unit in the Global Promotions Management org.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Unlimited</strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Developer</strong>&nbsp;Editions with Real-Time Offer Management</td></tr></tbody></table>

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small permission">
        <colgroup>
          <col style="width:50%">
          <col style="width:50%">

        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">

          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="User Permissions Needed" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d19827e67 ">To connect Global Promotions Management with an Engagement org:</td>

            <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d19827e67 ">
              <p>View Setup and Configuration</p>
              <p>AND</p>

            </td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

Before you add the connection between Global Promotions Management and an Engagement business unit, copy this information from the package that you created in the Marketing Cloud business unit for the connection:

- Authentication Base URI
- Client Id
- Client Secret

Also, keep the name of the send classification handy after you create it in the business unit for the promotion launch email.

Note Marketing Cloud was renamed Marketing Cloud Engagement. As we change labels in apps and content, you might find some references that haven't been updated.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Global Promotions Management, and then select **Marketing Cloud Integration**.
2. Enable **Global Promotions Management’s Integration with Marketing Cloud**.
3. Click **Add Connection**.
4. In the Marketing Cloud Business Unit Details section, enter the details of the business unit and the name of the send classification for referral promotion emails.

    The Business Unit Marketing Cloud Member ID (MID) is used to uniquely identify the business unit that you want to connect to.
5. From Connect Marketing Cloud Org With, select Global Promotions Management.
6. In the Business Unit Package Details section, enter the Authentication Base URI, client ID, and client secret of the package that you created in the Engagement business unit.
7. Save your changes.

After you save the connection, these settings are automatically created in the org:
