Here’s the list of changes that reflect in the org after you turn on Promotion Evaluation and Execution.

| CHANGE | PURPOSE |
| --- | --- |
| The Promotion Console is updated | Marketing managers can use the Promotion Console tab to configure promotion evaluation and execution. |
| Parent groups are automatically created for each Global Promotions Management rule library. Promotions are further categorized into groups based on their application at line, cross line, and cart level | Marketing managers can associate the promotions they want to evaluate with the same rule library. Then, they can select the evaluation methods for each promotion subgroup based on their company's requirement. |

Important To view, update, or delete Promotion Execution Evaluation Group and Promotion Execution Evaluation Group Item records, turn on Promotion Evaluation and Execution. Salesforce doesn’t provide access to those objects when this setting is turned off.

Promotions work differently depending on whether Promotion Evaluation and Execution is turned on or not.
