# Select Promotion Template

The Select Promotion Template step in the guided flow lists the pricing promotion templates that marketing managers use and the loyalty templates that program managers use to create the promotion’s rules.

                promotions that have a rule library selected. When you save the promotion, a
                clone of the selected decision table is created and the rule rows that you
                configure are saved to the cloned decision table.</p>
