You can create highlighting rules directly from the widget you want to add the rule to or from the Highlighting Rules section under the Visualize tab. To create multiple rules at a time, use the Highlighting Rules section.

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small ">
        <colgroup>
          <col style="width:50%">
          <col style="width:50%">
        </colgroup>
        <thead class="slds-text-title_caps ">
          <tr class="">
            <th scope="colgroup" class="slds-cell-wrap" colspan="2" style="vertical-align:top;" id="d6592e38">REQUIRED USER ROLE</th>
          </tr>
        </thead>
        <tbody>
          <tr class="">
            <td data-label="REQUIRED USER ROLE" class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d6592e38 ">To setup a highlighting rule </td>

            <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;" headers="d6592e38 ">Admin and Power User</td>

          </tr>
        </tbody>
      </table>

1. Navigate to **Visualize**.
2. Select **Highlighting Rules**.
3. Click **Add New**.
4. Enter a unique name for your highlighting rule.
5. Create your condition as follows:

    <table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small ">
            <colgroup>
              <col style="width:50%">
              <col style="width:50%">
            </colgroup>
            <tbody>
              <tr class="">
                <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">
                  <strong class="uicontrol">Operator</strong>
                </td>

                <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Select the operator you want to use: <strong class="uicontrol">AND</strong> or
                  <strong class="uicontrol">OR</strong>. This selection is relevant if you want to add more than one
                  condition to your rule.
                </td>

              </tr>
              <tr class="">
                <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">
                  <strong class="uicontrol">Cell Value</strong>
                </td>

                <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">
                  <p>Select the operator you want to use from these options:</p>
                  <ul>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Equals</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Not Equals</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Contains</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Not Contains</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Start With</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">End With</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Is Empty</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">Not Empty</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">&gt;</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">=&gt;</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">&lt;</strong></li>
                    <li><strong class="uicontrol">=&lt;</strong></li>
                  </ul>
                  <p style="margin-bottom:0;">Enter the value that you want to track. It can be textual, such as the name of a
                    campaign, or it can be numeric, such as a CTR value. </p>
                </td>

              </tr>
              <tr class="">
                <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">
                  <strong class="uicontrol">Add</strong>
                </td>

                <td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">To include another condition</td>

              </tr>
            </tbody>
          </table>
6. Configure how you want the highlighting rule to look. These options are available:

    <table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small "><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap"><strong class="uicontrol">Text Color</strong></td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap"><strong class="uicontrol">Background &amp; Frame Color</strong></td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap"><strong class="uicontrol">Dimension Fill Color</strong></td></tr></tbody></table>

    The preview box illustrates how the highlighting rule looks according to your workspace’s theme — dark mode or light mode.
7. Save your work.

After the highlighting rule is saved, it appears in the highlighting rules list. From there, you can **Edit**, **Delete**, and **Delink** your highlighting rules. When you delink a highlighting rule you, can only edit it in the workspace you’re currently in – it can never be linked to the original workspace again. Delinking a highlighting rule is irreversible.
