# Advanced Customizations

Apply advanced customizations to your widgets such as forecasting, highlighting rules, and cascading filters.

    Forecasting allows you to activate sophisticated algorithms that predict the behavior of a specific measurement.
- **[Highlighting Rules](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=mktg.dato_visualize_widgets_advanced_high_rules.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Highlighting rules enable you to highlight values in a widget, allowing you to track specific values associated with measurements and dimensions. For example, you can use a highlighting rule to track the click-through rate (CTR) of a specific campaign to make sure that you remain within your key performance indicators (KPIs). Or you can use a highlighting rule to mark a specific media buy that you want to monitor.

    Cascading filters allow you to apply a filtering component such as a page filter or an interactive filter widget to other interactive filter widgets. After you apply a cascading filter, the list of values in the selected interactive filters widgets are filtered to only contain values that are relevant to the selected value.
