# Requirements for Harmonizing Your Data in the Email to Web Conversion G4 App

To harmonize your data, the Email to Web Conversion GA4 app matches your Google Analytics and email campaign names. Therefore, if you’re using different naming conventions for Google Analytics and your email data, classify your campaign names so that the app can locate the data from each source.

Many times a campaign name contains irrelevant information. For example, if your campaign name is Summer\_2021\_Shoes\_Sale and you want it to say Summer Sale, create a rule that removes the unneeded information.

You can create a final campaign name in two ways.

- **Use Contains** — Add a rule to create the final campaign name. For example, if the name contains the letters “ABC,” the final campaign name is “ABC Campaign.”
- **Use a Pattern** — Extract a specific term according to a position and delimiter in the naming convention. You can then use the extracted term to classify the campaigns. For example, if your naming convention is “summer\_sale\_1,” extract the first position, which is “summer.” Then use the term “summer” as the contains term, and classify the campaigns according to the term.
